Are you a fan of our Laugh Lines section? The photography is so highly stylised and classic and this issue we found the perfect contributor – AND he is local to Bowral. His name is Robert Billington and in August, Robert is guest speaker at the Centennial Vineyard Supper Club. The event is 5th August and for $30, you will receive supper and a glass of wine and hear Robert tell his story.
Robert has published a total of nine books, some of those titles being ‘Balmoral, every man and his dog’, ‘The Bridge’, ‘This is Australia’ (sold out), ‘Australianimal’, ‘Billington’s Sydney’ and his most recent ‘Bondi: The sound of tumbling water’. Robert shot on film for our last Laugh Lines feature on Mike Butcher, which was fun for all of us. Quick, accurate and tactile. Nothing like looking at proofs rather than Adobe Bridge!
